Kaolin as useful mining product for industries

Author: Mining activities has started centuries ago. Kaolin is one of mining products that has been known people long before us. The color of this mostly white. Centuries ago kaolin is used for making Chinese porcelain. Some sources stated that this mining product is firstly found in the hill in China. Its property has made this as a good material for porcelain. Kaolin is common mineral, it can be found in various continents. This mineral can be found in Asia as well as in Africa. Though it is not as valuable as gold or other minerals, this mineral is also useful material in modern industries.
There are still many other types of mining products that is not familiar to most people. Gold, silver, copper, or coal is more familiar mining product for us. Talc is the example of mineral from mining activities that is not familiar to most people. Scientifically this mineral is known as magnesium silicate hydroxide. Talc is heat resistant mineral that commonly used for producing talcum powder. The demand of this mineral keep increasing, there are many mining activities that is specialized for this mineral. The color of this mineral is usually white, though talc in green and gray is sometime also found.
